Prayers my new companion and area will treat me well for these last two transfers!
This week we prepared for the possibility of me leaving. Got the area book up to date, tracted so Sister Allred would have some bomb people to teach if I left, and generally just lived it up.
We also had the fabulous opportunity to go on exchanges with the sister training leaders. I got to go with the fantastic Sister Pitt and have the time of my life. We both served near each other when I was in Clinton and she was in Vicksburg. We talked about all the drama surrounding the departure of some missionaries after they used their agency to make some very bad choices. She and Sister John were the ones that had to shoulder the brunt of the effort of working it all out. Ridiculous. I thought we were all adults here. 'pparently not. Respect for some of these people is dive bombing. So sad to see it. We also got to talk about some awesome things and blow each others' minds with the insight we gained during studies. It was a really good exchange! We truly had so much fun together!
I will have to hunt Dianne down after the mish because she is being a little turd and not responding to anyone's texts so I haven't been able to say goodbye to her. Her and live in boyfriend are making some pretty deep choices that are making them look for someone else to blame. Creating a lot of drama for the people here. Poor Elders. Their investigator is the boyfriend. He won't let them come see him anymore. And texted them yesterday to let them know they need to stop visiting their neighbors. It was "creating issues" for them and "keeping them from staying on the down low." Whatever. Poor children. They threatened to file a lawsuit against the Church. Drama! Ridiculous!!
Anyways... It was a good week! Drama and all. I am looking forward to seeing what this next transfer brings! It's gonna be great! I am determined to make these last two the best ever! Hopefully God helps me out with that. But I will try to do it whatever is thrown at me. Sigh. Please. Please let these transfers be enjoyable!
Sorry I don't have a lot this week. I am just excited and nervous to get transferred. But as President likes to say to me around this time, "You don't grow in your comfort zone Sister Lindberg. You have to do things that make you uncomfortable to grow."
