LEE-Z-ANNA 5/1/2017

I have finally made it to the wonderful Louisiana!! I am serving in the Brownlee/Bossier area with the fabulous Sister Soto.
We are killing it. Literally. Our numbers are all dead. They are showing wide eyes and goose eggs from where we slammed them!
Okay so they were all zeros. Fine. Whatever. That's what happens when only 4 numbers are reported and you don't have anyone that could fit into those categories... yet. 😏

We are going to blow these folks away with our hard work! Prepare yourselves!

This week has been a whirlwind of getting my stuff packed, saying goodbye to the folks I have loved to serve for 6 months, saying goodbye to Purvis and Sister Allred, driving for 6 hours on a transfer van, meeting my new companion, driving to the apartment, unloading my stuff, grocery shopping, unpacking my bedding, climbing into bed, and dying!
Then getting to know the area day by day. Still working on that last one. But from my experience in the last 5 days, this is shaping up to be a good transfer! Bishop Burns is awesome and supportive, Brother Ramierez gave a FIRE talk about member missionary work and called the whole ward to repentance!, and Sister Soto is awesome!

Here is the spotlight on Sister Katherine Lorena Soto:
-From Taylorsville, UT
-2 months older than myself
-Been out for 1 year
-Loves animals (yep. we are already besties because of that one)
-Wants to be vet tech (yep. basically twins. Told her she could come work for me when I am a vet)
-Has two brothers, one older and one younger, and a younger sister
-Came out despite medical issues that threatened to keep her home
-Has a strong testimony that gives her the courage to speak up despite her fear of talking to people
-Awesome
-Kind and supportive

So basically, this is going to be an awesome transfer, possibly two. Sister Soto might be the one that gets to kill me off!

I have had some awesome experiences this week that have manifested the love my Heavenly Father has for me and the infinite love and mercy of my Saviour Jesus Christ. I have written a lot in my journal these past 7 days! SO grateful for these experiences and the insight they are giving me. I can't wait to see y'all again and see your shining faces and share these wonderful stories with y'all!
But until then, I am going to put my heart full in to this work and work my little tail off until July 19th!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘🐿
